Your Story Matters

Navigating Birth, Trauma, Loss and Healing

Guiding Women through Pre-conception, Birth and Postpartum

There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.
— Maya Angelou

Birth changes us.

Whether your journey was filled with joy, grief, empowerment, loss, trauma, or uncertainty, the experiences we carry through pregnancy, birth, and motherhood shape us in ways that often remain unseen.

Yet so many women are left holding these stories alone.

Perhaps you've been told, "At least you have a healthy baby." Perhaps you've buried your grief beneath the demands of motherhood, convinced it's time to move on. Or perhaps you're preparing for another pregnancy while quietly carrying fear from the last.

You deserve more than survival.

You deserve to have your story witnessed.

At the heart of my work is the belief that healing begins when we are deeply heard without judgement, without rushing, and without trying to fix what simply needs to be honoured.

I offer compassionate support for women navigating birth trauma, pregnancy and infant loss, difficult reproductive journeys, and the emotional preparation for future births. Together we gently unravel the experiences that continue to live within your body and nervous system, creating space for understanding, integration, and healing.

My approach blends lived experience, birth knowledge, trauma-informed care, and deep listening to help you reconnect with yourself and your own inner wisdom.

Because birth is not simply an event.

It is an initiation.

And every woman deserves to emerge from that threshold feeling seen, supported, and whole.

Meet Miranda

Hi, I’m a mother, wife, doula, and certified Healing Birth practitioner. For nearly 20 years I have been involved in the world of birth in various ways, through my own experiences of pregnancy, losses and births, and through supporting other women as they walk their paths to motherhood. I believe birth can be a life-affirming and transformative experience. We are profoundly changed as women each time we enter and move through the pregnancy, birth and postnatal thresholds. I feel honoured to hold space for women in these spaces, and I am deeply passionate about this work.

‘Whenever and however you give birth, your experience will impact your emotions, your mind, your body, and your spirit for the rest of your life’

– Ina May Gaskin

A Place Where Your Experience Is Honoured

Whether your story happened six weeks ago or sixteen years ago, there is no expiry date on healing.

You may be carrying birth trauma, miscarriage, stillbirth, termination, IVF grief, postnatal struggles, or simply a lingering feeling that something important was lost along the way. Whatever you bring, it will be met with compassion.

This is a space where your emotions are welcome.

Where your memories are valid.

Where your healing matters.

Because when a woman heals, the ripple extends far beyond herself—to her children, her relationships, and the generations that follow.

You don't have to carry your story alone anymore.

Unravelling Your Birth Experience

What we experience when we give birth is profound and can change us forever. Perhaps you experienced a birth which you found traumatic; recently, or years ago. You may be suffering with negative feelings and memories of that time in your life. There is no timeline when we are processing trauma, or grief.

Healing After Loss

Are you seeking support for the emotional impact of loss, stillbirth, miscarriage, abortion, termination or IVF-related trauma? Whether your loss is recent or happened many years ago, grief has a way of staying with us. Experiencing loss changes you profoundly.

Planning your Healing Birth

Are you looking to have another child and want to plan for a different experience than you previously had? After a difficult or traumatic birth experience, preparing to give birth again can bring up fear, anxiety, grief or uncertainty. You may be longing for a different experience this time.
